Top prize of BOPA Digital Champ Competition 2020 is a YEAR FREE MEMBERSHIP TO BOPA, as well as a BOPA digital champ mug and mousemat. This prize will go to:
Digital Champ prizes of a BOPA digital champ mousemat will be awarded to:
Winners will be chosen by the co-chairs of the digital subcommittee at 11am on Sunday 11th Oct 2020 and will be announced at the BOPA chairs' address at the close of the conference. Places will be determined using https://www.trackmyhashtag.com/ (or an alternative website if necessary). The judges decision is final. The winners must email their chosen postal address in the UK by 17th Oct 2020 to [email protected]. Failure to give the address by the deadline will mean a forfeit of the prize. Prizes will be mailed to the winners by 1st November 2020. International delivery is at the winners own cost in advance and must be arranged with [email protected].
The BOPA executive committee are excluded from winning any Digital Champ Prizes. All sub committee members, BOPA members and non BOPA members are otherwise included. Prizes will only be awarded to individuals and not companies.

A virtual conference is hosted entirely over the Internet. It will allow attendees to access live and hear presentations from their computers/devices. Attendees participate through a conference webapp designed specifically for the virtual conference. The site is where you will watch conference presentations and participate with questions and comments in real time.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BOPA Committee made the decision to change the format of the 2020 conference from a face-to-face to a virtual format. BOPA are working hard to ensure that your experience of the conference is as stimulating and interesting as a face-to-face conference in a virtual way.

Sessions will run from 09:00-13:30 on Friday 9th October, from 09:00-15:30 on Saturday 10th October and from 09:00-13:00 on Sunday 11th October.
The BOPA 2020 conference will feature the following:
• Opening plenary session
• Plenary lectures
• Clinical parallel sessions
• Poster sessions
The draft agenda will be available shortly, look out for more information on the BOPA website.
If you are interested in listening to more than one of the parallel sessions, don’t worry as you will be able to access the content through the post meeting platform.
Yes. Each session video (where permission has been given) will be available for viewing through through the BOPA website approximately a week after the conference.
Navigation from the BOPA webapp is very straight forward. On the left side of the app you will see a clickable icon labelled Exhibitions. This will take you to the home page of the exhibition landing page. From here you can navigate to the exhibition hall floor plan where you can choose which stand to visit. Click on the + icon on any stand and you will be taken to a 3D visual of the stand which will have clickable hotspots on that can give the user any relevant information the sponsor has supplied.
The virtual conference will include access to an e-poster site on the webapp containing PDFs of all the accepted abstract posters. The deadline for abstract submissions in Friday 31st July 2020.

There is a chat function on the webapp where delegates can have private or group conversations.
Yes. You can access your certificate through the web app, which can then be printed.
What
To participate, you need an Internet connection and web browser. For the best viewing experience, we recommend that you join the conference using a supported internet browser, which includes Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not recommended as some functions, such as chat, are not fully supported.
Once you register, you will receive confirmation of your registration. An email with detailed instructions on how to connect to the conference will be sent to you 1 week prior to the conference dates.
